There was a sense of calm on the hills near Askr, where Ash sat after her patrol. She had been startled by just how kind everyone had been after she had arrived. While she knew Lord Askr was a just ruler, it hadn't occurred to her that the mortals of Midgard would share such warm kindness, let alone the summoned heroes of legend.
